One year anniversary!
Today marks a big day in Casa Bella Cruz's history! We are proud to be celebrating our one-year anniversary as a boutique rental here in La Cruz. Time flies when you’re having fun, making improvements, building a team and welcoming guests! So much has happened in this last year and we wanted to take a trip down memory lane to see all the amazing improvements we have made!
Once receiving the keys we wasted no time! Within the first couple of weeks, we got straight to giving the Casa a fresh new paint job with the addition of murals!
New color, who this? 💖
The new paint color and murals created the perfect canvas for the rest of our additions! Our next focus went to the interior renovations in our suites to prepare for our first guests arriving in the new year. The first project centered around the full kitchens included in all of our suites. We added Huanacaxtle wood cabinets and drawers to create an elegant and stylish space to cook delicious meals when on your vacation! Throughout this year we have added more details to increase this feel, including new lighting, amenities, kitchenware, local art, and much more to give our guests the best cooking experience during their time in La Cruz.
To Cook or Not to Cook? 🧑🍳 (you’re on vacation, it’s up to you!)
With the kitchens done we then moved to the outdoor common areas. The courtyard and pool are the heart of this casa so we wanted to make sure all of our guests have space to enjoy it, even when we have a full house! This meant creating ample comfortable and inviting areas for our renters to take advantage of the amazing weather here in La Cruz Mexico. We want our guests to feel as if they are staying in their own personal private resort in the heart of town. We were thinking seating, seating and more seating!
Soak up the Sun ☀️
Now we wanted to bring the comfort of our outside common areas into our suites. After a long day soaking up the sun lounging by the pool, nothing is better than coming home to a comfortable room to rest. Those vacation zzz’s really just hit different and we wanted to be sure our guests feel calm and relaxed when in their private suites. We put a major focus on creating a peaceful ambience through lighting, luxury bedding, curtains, comfortable furniture and pieces of Mexico to remind you where you are!
Your home away from home 🏡
With all these new changes we then shifted our focus to the most important part of our business, the guest experience. We started by adding all the necessary amenities to the rooms and thoughtful touches including super-fast Wi-fi, installing a water filtration system so all the water in the casa is safe, providing cooking and bath essentials, welcome guides, guest gifts and much more!
We have put a lot of hard work into Casa Bella Cruz and we are proud of all we have accomplished in our first year. From the big and small changes you see in the photos above to earning Airbnb Superhost and Vrbo Premier Host status!
All of this would not be possible without those who have helped us get here. I want to give a huge thank you to the incredible team at Poltrona Studio for helping make all my design dreams come true. To our amazing staff, thank you for all the hard work you put into making Casa Bella Cruz the best it can be.
